Guests staying at the hotel are served lunch and evening meals outside under the trees or in the dining room. In this social setting guests get the opportunity to meet each other and share stories. Puesto Viejo Estancia attracts a wide range of people from around the world and many guests make friendships which last long beyond their stay.

Breakfast is buffet style with fresh fruits and pastries, with optional eggs and bacon. The 3-course lunches and dinners offer a variety of typical Argentine dishes. Puesto Viejo Estancia regularly arranges asado lunches for guests, which include a variety of meats alongside other Argentine delicacies.

Afternoon tea is served in the drawing room every day in front of the fire and bay window during the winter or outside under the trees during the summertime. It includes a range of specially blended teas, homemade cakes and soft drinks.

Puesto Viejo Estancia offers a selective wine list, including blends from the Luigi Bosca and Familia Marguery vineyards in Mendoza. Familia Marguery focuses on developing high quality wines using the latest technology and grapes from old vineyards in the Tupungato area. Having built a successful relationship producing wine for the exclusive Nobu restaurant in London, they have also developed a special edition of Malbec for Puesto Viejo Estancia.
